#7 – King Of Fools
I hereby don my crown as the King of Fools. Master of idiots, morons, and tools. I am the patron saint of mistakes; of fuck-ups and leaky brakes. The gods laughs as I squirm, unable to make up my mind and decisions firm. My inside is empty and unseen, as I drift lifeless and alone at sea. I feel only the greatest swell of regret, over which I lose sleep and I fret. I hope hopelessly for the one that got away, the one that I’ll remember when I’m old and gray.
Sometimes what you look for is right in front of your eyes, but isn’t made apparent until it’s said “Good-bye”… Pay closer attention to what you look past, slow down to think and don’t move so fast. You might could find what you’re looking for, ready and willing to give more than you had in store. ‘Tis all the advice I’m able to offer from this rotten throne, where I most likely will continue to forever bitch and moan.
